Printemps: Antique Metal Bronze figural fairy winged cherub statue cum banquet oil lamp by sculptor Ernest Ranooulet (FRENCH, 1870 – 1915). The Louis XVI-style figural Putti features a curl haired cherub with a wind blown sheath with one arm up as if holding a torch. The torch is realized with a W&W Kosmos green glass oil burner. The figure stands on a rising circular metal base with placard reading; PRINTEMPS par E. Ranooulet. The entire lamp then rests on a circular pink marble base. (France – circa late 1800s)
