Antique Personalized Leather Fire Bucket

This is an amazing piece of Americana… authentic antique leather fire department water bucket with original handle and hardware. The bucket is personalized with the fireman’s first name initial, his last name and department number in gold hand lettering. The bucket stands approximately 12” tall and 18” to top if the handle. The bucket is actually in very good condition considering it’s age believed to be from the early 1800’s. This extraordinary piece was obtained from the estate of a retired New Jersey firefighter who had collected fire memorabilia throughout the course of his life. After his passing I purchased a large number of unique and interesting items from his estate. It is now time to pass this treasure on to the next person to care for and that can appreciate the history and significance of this amazing piece.
