Mid 20th Century Chinese Covered Warming Dishes Duck Design- Set of 2

Here we have two antique duck shaped warming dishes circa 1880-1900 from China in an engraved motif.

Each warming dish opens into 3 sections.

* The base of the warming dish holds hot water for your warming needs.

* The center dish that fits into the duck to hold your food.

* The cover with the duck design houses the food.

The duck has engraving with a feather design on the top from beak to tail, and the base has engraving of flowers and vines with brass handles. Each duck head has black, possibly onyx eyes and brass accents on the beaks.
