Vintage Design
For being a Danish sideboard, it has a very small size, it is only 190 cm long and 79 cm high. The depth is also 44 cm so it is also relatively shallow. This makes it easy to furnish in tighter spaces. The depth in combination with the sliding doors makes it very easy to access the cupboards, perfect in e.g. a long narrow hall, next to the dining area etc!
The furniture is from the Danish Møbelfabrikken Thelna and is made of teak. It has four sliding doors with a very beautiful grain and with round integrated handles. The hatches are very practical in that no doors stick out, especially if it is a bit cramped around the furniture.
Behind the outer doors are shelves that can be moved and removed, depending on the need at the time.
Behind the middle doors is an absolutely fantastic bar cabinet. Furnished in noble wood with a mirror with a period-typical etched motif and a movable and removable shelf with space for decanters and bottles in front. Imagine a guide rail that illuminates the bar cabinet…
All furnishings in the furniture are nicely lavished in precious wood.
The side table stands on round tapered legs that are very easy to unscrew before transport.
Stamped on the back.
190x44x79 cm.
In very good condition with very few traces of use.
