Vintage Design
A set of four dining chairs was produced by Zakłady Mebli Giętych Radomsko
It was designed by Juliusz Kędziorek. The frames are made of beech wood with a glossy finish. The surface was cleaned of dust and dirt and protected again with hard oil.
Good condition, original, strong, stable, upholstery made of washed fabric. However, the wood has discolorations visible in the photos.
Phased project
being an icon of Polish design of the 1960s and 1970s. The chairs are distinguished by a recognizable design known from the history of Polish design.
The so-called chair “Skoczek” was designed in 1965. The form of the chair refers to a ski jump. In the 1960s and 1970s, ski jumping was very popular in Poland. It was on this wave that the design of the Polish chair was created. The prototype of the project was taken from Wielka Krokiew in Zakopane.
In 1966, at the exhibition in Poznań, “Skoczek” received a prestigious award for functionality and good design.
The design of the “Skoczek” chair can be recognized by its iconic design rooted in the history of culture and art of the 20th century. In 2011, this model was released. presented at the exhibition. Polish Design 1955-1968 from the collections of the National Museum in Warsaw” presenting applied art of the 1960s.

Beautiful simple form.
Good original condition, long superficial scratch on the tabletop, a few small paint chips on the edges of the tabletop and legs.
