A late 17th-century English Walnut and Elm chest of drawers, circa 1680, from the Charles II period.
An exceptionally well-constructed sturdy chest with superb colour and patina. The chest has four long drawers with the correct drop handles, cushion drawer fronts, thick paneled sides, and drawer linings. It sits on its original block feet,
The back of the chest still retains its original boards, and the drawers run smoothly.
In good antique condition, with normal signs of age and use.
