1960s Sergio Rodrigues Attributed Mole Sofa

Robust and extremely comfortable, the ‘Mole’ sofa is comprised of a solid rounded rosewood frame, adjustable leather support straps and a floppy, over•sized luxurious leather cushion. Originally designed in 1957, this sofa is part of Sergio Rodrigues’ most iconic line, ‘Mole’ (meaning “soft” in Portuguese).

The wood has just be professionally refurbished and oiled, which can be seen in the photos. The straps and leather cushions are in excellent condition, with expected wear for the age. This sofa does not have any markings, labels, or signatures.
