1982 Americana Impressionist Original Oil Painting, Stone Mill by Ruth English

We loved the colors in this original oil painting by Ruth English. They are bright and vivid as she depicts an old stone mill on a river. The sky is a gorgeous blue and the trees and meadow grass a vibrant green. The mill wheel is a bright red and the artist has incorporated a rust to frame out the building. Painted in 1982 on stretched canvas with a hand-carved wood frame from the same era. The frame has a band of olive green that compliments the painting and a burlap mat.
