This Art Deco rocking chair originates from Bohemia in the early 20th century and was manufactured by Fischel-Thonet. The chair is made from bent beech wood and has been completely restored.
The chair features a sliding footrest that increases the depth of the chair by 25 cm (10 in) when extended. The original lacquer was sanded down and replaced with a new polish, giving the chair a refreshed appearance. It has been re-polished with polyutherane piano lacquer by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process.
The new rattan weaving is sturdy and comfortable.
