Vintage Design
Beautiful Hungarian mid century club chair with wooden armrests and tubular metal legs. Designed by Jozsef Peresztegi, a renowned interior designer in interwar Hungary. Heavily influenced by the Hungarian Bauhaus greats like Breuer or Moholy-Nagy, Peresztegi was fascinated by tubularity and the “form follows function” principle. As a result this unique armchair was born. The seat has been reupholstered, which endowed it with a new, immensely cute pink and salmon upholstery. The synergy between the wooden armrests and metal legs fulfils the Bauhaus sense by its simplicity, true materials, smart use of resources and “the complete work of art”. This club chair carries artisticness and multifunctionality, which enables it to fit in with various bedroom and living room interior styles.
