Vintage Design
Made of wood, with a teak-colored veneer finish, the piece features a drawer with no handle or knob, which is indicative of Scandinavian designs of this period.
It also have a nice storage space beneath the drawer and all four of the spindle legs are sturdy.
Nightstand is in overall, very good, original, vintage condition with some light signs and marks of age and usage, on the top, tiny mark on the edge of the left side panel (see photos with 1 cent coins for perspective), as well as on the overall structure, drawer and legs (see photos.)
There is a functioning drawer (see dimensions below.) The inside is very clean (see photo.)
There is a faded serial number at the back of the nightstand which we know for certain, is the mark of Capelle Furniture. The two first numbers “82”, is the department where the manufacturing facility was located, in Montauban, SW France (see photo.)
The nightstand has simply been gently cleaned and polished, to preserve its original, vintage condition and with respect to the patina.
Great showcase or accent pieces, that will look fantastic in a bedroom as originally intended, in a bathroom for storage, or in a living room, den, office, etc.
