Vintage Design
This Egg Chair with footstool, Model 3316 / Model 3317, is an old Edition with return mechanism/tilt function. It is padded with high-quality Arne Sörensen leather in elephant grey. The surface of the leather has a beautiful look, feel and patina. In this design, only three of these Egg Chairs worldwide exist. The chair comes with the original footstool. The set was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the SAS Hotel Royal, Copenhagen and manufactured by Fritz Hansen Denmark in 1960s / 1970s.
The small holes on the sides are of the round needle, which were traditionally used in these armchairs.

Note that the return mechanism/tilt function works in such a way that the armchair moves in when it is inserted into it. This feature can be disabled by detecting with a hex key.
